I love vanilla bean powder! I use it for glazes, frostings and creams. When I need a punch of vanilla but don’t want my frosting or glazes or creams to look brown or water down.
It is a key ingredient for us pastry chefs. There is quality in everything so make sure you buy clean vanilla (organic, no pesticides) and shop around (I did this for you) because vanilla is VERY VERY EXPENSIVE and honestly there are a lot of crappy products out there.
A bag goes a long way because you will use a pinch. Best foodie/ pastry gift!
